Founded by Jane Holmes
A Brisbane-based interior design studio, Hark Interiors curates authentic and compelling spaces, with a hint of the unexpected. Specialising in residential and boutique commercial interiors, we work by juxtaposing texture and form to engender a delicate balance between function and beauty. Our design philosophy is one of coalescence – a love of exploring the alchemy of materials; the marriage of new and old; bringing together person, architecture and environment to create interiors that delight. Jane Holmes is the owner and principal designer at Hark Interiors. A love of antiques and vintage pieces, and an appreciation for original art underpins Jane’s personal aesthetic. As such, she holds a deep appreciation for the transformative potential of introducing bespoke pieces infused with history, patina and soul into a space. With a young family of her own, Jane understands the importance of curating spaces that convey an engaging visual narrative without sacrificing utility. Jane lives in Brisbane with her husband Dan and her two little girls Ivy and Olive.

Our role then, is to provide the technical knowledge and artistic insights that bring your space to life.
